Have you seen our blog about Drumming Knysna? We traveled across the country shooting videos about the top 100 cities in South Africa for the new website about Drumming Knysna. Our next assignment was to update the videos on the Facebook Page about Drumming in Knysna.
It was the break of dawn, and by first light got things cracking about Drumming in Knysna.
This was my first time in Knysna. Knysna is a town in the Western Cape and is part of the Garden Route between Buffels Bay and Plettenberg Bay.
The main street of Knysna is actually a part of the N2 highway which passes directly through the center of the town en route to the Eastern Cape and beyond. Beaches, lakes, mountains and rivers provide endless opportunity for leisure and outdoor adventure.
Knysna is about 480 km from Cape Town, and 260 km from Port Elizabeth. Knysna is nestles on the banks of a breathtakingly pretty lagoon, now a protected marine reserve.
Knysna is key to Drumming in the Western Cape. To truly paint a picture about Drumming in Knysna, we also explored the sidewalk cafés, museums, city parks, and off the beaten attractions to capture the sites, sounds, and colors of Knysna.
We took a boat ride on the Waterfront Drive where they had a little market of small boats selling fruits, jewelry and other wooden trinkets. It was a new experience of shopping which proved to be a great background for our video about Drumming Knysna.

I don’t have all the answers about Drumming in Knysna. Blogging for me about was about listening to comments and reviews about Drumming - there was always so much more out there. Just by listening would teach us so much more about Drumming in Knysna.
